Disability Clinic : 

It is expected that Persons with Disability approach the Civil Surgeons of the respective Districts for availing Disability Certificates as Medical Boards have been constituted for the purpose.
In the Institute Disability Certificates are issued only after a thorough evaluation as per guidelines of Gazette Notification clause no 16-18/97-NI.1 dated 01/06/2001.

Enrolment for Disability Certificate is done on OPD days i.e. Mon, Wed, Fri and Certificates are issued on the same afternoon between 3 to 4 pm. Those  requiring additional investigations such as Xrays etc  are normally issued within  10 working days and for those  requiring detailed evaluation and computations within 15 working days.

1) To report with the necessary documents and payment of Rs 16. The certificate is issued after assesment by a duly constituted Medical Board.

2) Driving Fitness Certification Clinic conducted every Tuesday 9:00Am to 1:00 PM. To report with the necessary documents including the Disability Certificate and a payment of Rs 50.

3) Medical assessment of Disability and Vocational recommendation to the Special Employment for placement.
